Additional Surgical & Specialty Services
In addition to the surgical procedures performed by our veterinary team, we work closely with trusted veterinary specialists who provide select services on a mobile basis at our hospital.
Orthopedic Surgery
For pets requiring advanced orthopedic procedures, we partner with an experienced mobile veterinary orthopedic surgeon. Orthopedic surgery may be recommended for conditions involving the bones, joints, ligaments, and other musculoskeletal structures, including certain fractures, cruciate ligament injuries, and other orthopedic conditions.
TPLO
TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery is a specialized orthopedic procedure used to treat cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tears in dogs, which are similar to ACL injuries in people. TPLO surgery can help pets return to a more comfortable, active lifestyle following recovery and rehabilitation.
Endoscopy Services
We also work with a board-certified internal medicine specialist who visits our hospital to perform endoscopic procedures. Endoscopy is a minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment tool that uses a small camera to examine areas such as the gastrointestinal tract. This technology can help diagnose digestive disorders, investigate chronic vomiting or diarrhea, obtain biopsy samples, and in some cases remove foreign objects without the need for traditional surgery.
Your Pet’s Safety Is Our Priority
Your pet’s safety and comfort are extremely important to us before, during, and after surgery. Prior to any procedure, we perform a comprehensive physical examination and may recommend pre-anesthetic bloodwork to evaluate your pet’s overall health and ensure they are healthy enough for anesthesia.
During surgery, your pet is closely monitored by trained veterinary professionals using advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs such as:
- Heart rate
- Blood pressure
- Oxygen levels
- Temperature
- Respiratory rate
We also utilize modern anesthesia protocols and pain management techniques designed to maximize safety while minimizing discomfort throughout the procedure and recovery process.
